Ruth D. Kirshner is “of counsel” to the firm.  A fifteen year veteran of the legal profession, Ms. Kirshner has been praised for her thorough attention to detail, zealous advocacy and good judgment.  At the same time, she is known for making personal connections with her clients and colleagues. 

Ms. Kirshner has diverse litigation experience in such practice areas as commercial litigation, tort law, employment law, civil rights, insurance and reinsurance coverage, professional liability and personal injury.  She has practiced extensively in state and federal courts throughout the State of New Jersey, and at both the trial and appellate levels.  For many years, Ms. Kirshner worked in medium and large sized law firms.  Tired of being immersed in the typical big firm culture, she now enjoys practicing law in a smaller firm amongst intelligent and amiable professionals committed to working in collaboration to best serve their clients. 

Ms. Kirshner graduated cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1991, where she participated in the criminal law clinic and was an editor for the Journal of Law and Technology.  Following her graduation from law school, she served as law clerk to three judges of the Superior Court of New Jersey, in the Civil, Special Civil and Criminal Divisions.  Ms. Kirshner received her Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University in 1988, where she graduated cum laude.
